A night of wishes in Naples
Our crew was honored to, once again, produce AV for the Make-A-Wish Southern Florida’s Annual Wishmaker’s Party. This year, it was held at the Royal Ponciana Golf Club during the last weekend in February and raised more than $700,000. It was a jam-packed day between crew travel over to the west coast, set-up, rehearsals, show, strike and return travel.
Our set consisted of two 7’6” x 13’4” rear projection screens flanked by grey run-off drape that was up-lit in blues and greens to stay consistent with branding. We had a manned camera in the back of the room for IMAG shots during presentations. The run of show also consisted of video playback in between speeches, highlighting some of this year’s Wish Kids and their impactful stories.
We had quite a bit of specialty lighting on this show, as well, including several movers and LED par lights to set the ambience in the room. We used multiple channels of audio for our PA system that was ground supported to cover the space. Our microphone complement was made up of lectern mics and wireless handheld/lav combos.
We are so proud to partner with our friends at Make-A-Wish Southern Florida year after year, and we applaud all their ongoing efforts to change the lives of the children in need in their community.
