Busy end of the year for Media Stage production team
Media Stage was excited to close out the year in a positive and productive way! Right before Christmas week, our team produced five virtual shows from our onsite command center and multiple studios.
First on the agenda was the Greater Miami Jewish Federation’s Pacesetter event. For this show, we pre-recorded multiple segments and built out two custom sets with different living room-style furniture and décor. As for the live run of show, we relied heavily on Playback Pro as most of the visuals (especially with all our pre-recordings) was comprised of video content. It was a very successful event for Media Stage’s longest running client filled with testimonials, a music performance from Israel and uplifting fundraising efforts for Federation.
The next event was for YWCA: a live discussion with prominent female figures in Georgia politics. The show was undoubtedly timely, as the states prepares for their Senate run-off. Stacey Abrams was featured as the primary keynote speaker and the run of show consisted of an appropriate balance of pre-recorded video content and live speakers. “A Conversation with Georgia’s Women” was a moving event and addressed many key topics that were prominent in this year’s election cycle.
The final two virtual shows were a double header! Our production team pulled double duty in the studio for clients Kaseya (a software company based in Miami) and McCarter & English (a law firm based in New York) on the same day. For Kaseya, we built a custom set in our onsite studio using eye-catching Atomic panels with up-lighting and an LCD monitor to display branding images.
For McCarter & English, we produced their staff holiday party, which was fully live, beginning with remarks from the executive board. The highlight of the show was a live interactive comedy sketch with Harrison Greenbaum who has been featured on America’s Got Talent, Conan and Last Comic Standing. Alyse Pashman did an excellent job hosting the event all while integrating the presenters, gift un-boxings and a heartwarming showcase of all the firm’s new babies of 2020.
In other related news, our three customized studio spaces in the Grand Symphony Ballroom at Hilton Miami Downtown are officially up and running! We have already filmed an infomercial using one of the sets. Stay tuned for more details on this partnership in an upcoming post right after the new year, but in the meantime please contact us if you may be interested in using these for a virtual or hybrid event.
As always, we want to thank you for following along and reading our blogs… and for all the continued support throughout the year. We are eager to turn the page into 2021 and remain optimistic for what the future holds for the audio visual industry. Happy Holidays from our entire staff!!!
