Capital One Orange Bowl Coaches Luncheon closes out the year

That’s a wrap for Media Stage in 2023! Our final show of the year was the Capital One Orange Bowl Coaches Luncheon at Jungle Island, an event we’ve been producing for the Committee for more than 20 years. This time around, the luncheon showcased the University of Georgia Bulldogs and Florida State University Seminoles.

In previous years, the main focal point of our set was constructed using a variety of scenic Atomic panels behind the desk where both coaches sit. For this design, we amped up our vision using more video support and built a 10’ x 20’ LED wall to serve as the centerpiece. It was very eye-catching and gave us the flexibility to allow for more “looks” throughout the program.

We lit the stage for shots from a multi-camera complement and also positioned movers around the room for added effect. Our video team rear projected onto the two screens that flanked each side of the stage and the LED wall to show a combination of graphics and video playback.

Another unique feature we added onto the stage was green “Astroturf” carpeting and custom signage for both teams’ logos.
