Beautiful day to celebrate Miami’s Jewish women

Media Stage was especially excited to partner with the Greater Miami Jewish Federation for their Women’s Event a couple weeks ago! This annual event had to be produced virtually last year, so it was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to gather in person again.

The show was held outdoors at North Miami Bandshell under clear skies and sunny weather. Roughly 300 women attended in person, and we also live streamed the event for those watching from home.

This was a two-day production for our team as we were able to load into the venue the day prior and strike immediately following the luncheon. We provided minimal lighting, primarily for stage wash, as we had the benefit of the natural light being outdoors.

The highlight of the agenda was a live performance by Shira Ginsburg, the remarkable “one-woman show,” known best for her platform Bubby’s Kitchen. This was inspired by her call to carry out her grandparents’ incredible legacy as Holocaust survivors. We provided an audio package to supplement her performance, coordinating with some of the existing house PA.

We’ve worked with Bonnie for more than three decades, and most recently prior to this show, had done the complete 180 shift to virtual shows (no easy feat)!
