Hitting the ground running in 2025

Our crew had a busy start to the new year, with multiple gigs both at home and on the road! First up was the Orange Bowl, which we have worked on in many years past in different capacities. This year, Penn State hired us to build an outdoor PA system at their practice venue. We positioned line array stacks on the field to simulate crowd noise during practice to help get them ready for the big game.

And then… time to hit the road! Our first ballroom show of the year took us to the Loews Atlanta where we produced AV for a medical conference in partnership with our longtime friends at A2 Events.

The General Session was held in Ellington Ballroom and hosted more than 600 attendees. We built two 9’ x 16’ rear projection screens on each side of the stage that was centered by up-lit scenic Atomic columns. We completed the set with a wall-to-wall drape line, also complemented by up-lighting, as we changed the look and feel throughout the show.

The run of show consisted of video playback, graphics presentations and live panel discussions. Audio and lighting were all ground supported around the room. In addition to general stage wash and the up-lighting, we manned a follow-spot for a portion of the show. Our audio team built an additional sound system to support the foyer outside of the ballroom and create a unique ambience for attendees.

We also supported two breakout rooms with basic sound and projection packages, installing 10K lumen projectors each equipped with ultra-short throw lenses.

Our South Florida crew had to bundle up but enjoyed getting to see some rare snow fall in downtown Atlanta!
