Motorola selects Media Stage for multi-venue business conference in Portugal

PORTUGAL, May 21, 2012. Media Stage, a leading worldwide provider of Audio Visual equipment and professional technicians, supervised the staging and staffing of four multi-event sites in the historic Portuguese cities of Sintra and Cascais.

Company President Wilson Alers and lead audio engineer Frankie Castro, working with show producer Swift Media Group, Chicago oversaw the staging of all meetings including the General Business sessions, four cocktail receptions, and four dinner galas featuring live performances by bands from across the European continent.

The venues ranged from a traditional resort hotel, to a seaside restaurant, a winery … and a monastery. The Media Stage team directed the installation and operation of large screen video projection and image magnification camera systems, full concert quality sound systems, theatrical lighting grids, and custom staging. Media Stage technicians also had primary responsibility for audio engineering, technical direction, and stage management.

Sand In My Shoes honors local South Florida couple

The show may have occurred a bit later than originally scheduled due to Hurricane Milton, but Media Stage once again partnered with Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce on the annual Sand In My Shoes awards gala as we have done for more than 20 years. The show was originally scheduled for October 9th but ended up being postponed to October 30th. Even though Miami wasn’t in the direct path of the storm, the Chamber wanted to be considerate of their fellow Floridians in other parts of the state. [Read more...]
