Right back at it!
After our crew enjoyed some much deserved down time for the holidays, we jumped right back in to a heavy show schedule to start off 2023!
Our first event was held at the cruise port in Miami. We provided full scale AV for two different set-ups for a multi-day production between set/rehearsals and show/strike. We had to be flexible in working around the terminal’s ship schedule as they had an embarkation that day. Our truck arrived on site at 4pm and we spent the rest of the evening into the early morning making sure the space was ready for the next day’s early call.
One set-up was more entertainment-based and the other on the floor above was for an all-day leadership meeting. The sessions were held in both the morning and afternoon with a break at lunch and a cocktail reception following the last meeting during which they were able to enjoy the live performances.
Later that week we were back at a familiar venue for another show: Eden Roc Miami Beach. This show consisted of a general session and three breakout rooms that all required AV support. The GS was a pretty straightforward center screen set-up with rear projection and audio and lighting complements throughout the ballroom.
Following our set day, this show ran two days throughout the weekend and consisted of prepackaged video rolls, recorded VOGs, many live presentations and panels discussions.
