The summer of champions continues...

Florida Panthers fever has not subsided at all during the summer; Media Stage has been active with the reigning Stanley Cup Champions for many of the team’s off-season activities. One major highlight was having the Stanley Cup brought into our onsite studio for a private photo shoot for the team to capture content for the upcoming season.

Our studio had most recently been dressed with various scenic elements (including Atomic panels) and heavy front and back lighting for camera shots. Our crew re-vamped the design for the Cup shoot to implement classic black pipe and drape so we could hit it with more specialty lighting versus broadcast camera lighting.

We did this using Astra panels and Astera X9 up-lights to showcase the reds and blues of the team’s branding. We also provided a rotating surface to place onto the round table so their photographers could capture the trophy from multiple angles as it moved slowly in a circular motion. Of course, it was necessary to capture images of the area on the Cup displaying the freshly engraved names of all the Champion players and front office staff!

Once the shoot wrapped, our entire staff fortunately all had the opportunity to see it up close and take photos with it. We’ve also been busy with a few other projects during the summer leading up to the new season which gets underway in just a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for all the details… Go Cats Go!
